The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Administrative Order 2016-08 states that any business unable to comply with the wastewater discharge parameters, will be subject to substantial fees as well as possible business closure.
Initially passed in June 2016, businesses were given a five (5) year moratorium to comply to the new wastewater standards.
The moratorium period officially lapses on June 18, 2021.

Canals, ponds, lakes, rivers and the like.
